The Story Behind

Blessed, Melanated, and Gifted

The real story behind the letters.

Everybody asks what BMG stands for. The real story is Blessed, Melanated, and Gifted. ‘Big Money Grip’ started as a joke, and people still bring it up, but this is what it means to me.

Blessed, because none of this is taken for granted. Melanated, because we’re proud of who we are. Gifted, because every one of us has something to bring to the table.

You’ll also see Blessed Motivated Gifted in this line, which ties into what BMG means as a company: Build. Motivate. Grow. Different words, same energy.

I was driving a CDL route during COVID when I decided there had to be another way. BMG Ventures is what I built from there. This line is about remembering who you are while you build. Wear it with your head up.
